Anand A. Kapasi founded Kapasi Law LLC to provide businesses, entrepreneurs, and families with the kind of legal service that large firms often reserve for their biggest clients: practical, attentive, and results-driven.
With nearly two decades of experience advising clients across New York and New Jersey, Anand brings a rare combination of transactional depth and litigation experience to every matter. He works closely with startups and established businesses and professional practices, guiding them through complex legal challenges with clarity and a focus on their goals.
Anand’s practice spans business law and transactions, commercial litigation, and estate planning and administration. His ability to see both the business and legal dimensions of a problem, and his commitment to being a trusted advisor, set him apart.
Anand earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Outside the office, he is an active networker and member of BNI Chapter 53, and is proud to serve as a member of the Cranford Jaycees, where he is committed to giving back to the community he calls home. He lives in New Jersey with his wife Caroline and their children Marco and Sophia.
